Where are the printers located at the University?

Växjö:

UB – 1st, 2nd and on the 3rd floor

How do I log in to the printers?

Order and activate the Lnu-card

Log in with using the Lnu card
Hold your Lnu card in front of the card reader on the printer to log in.

Log in without a Lnu card (manual log in)
Click Log in and log in with your username (without @student.lnu.se) and password for your student account.

How do I pay for printing, copying and scanning on the University printers?

The Linnaeus University is using the payment service ”Pcounter EasyPay” for students printing, copying and scanning. Before you print, copy or scan you need to deposit money to your student account via Pcounter EasyPay.

Guide how to get started with Pcounter EasyPay for printing and copying.

If for some reason you can´t use the payment service Pcounter EasyPay, you can deposit money in to your student account at Copy Center in Växjö or Infocenter in Kalmar.

NOTE! There is no refund of any credits during your studies or when your studies are completed.


How do I print from my private computer, mobile or tablet?

There are two options for printing from a mobile device:

Using a Web Browser (Webprint)

Go to https://webprint.lnu.se and log in with your student account.

Using the printing feature on your device

On Android devices, you first need to download the "EveryonePrint" app. See guide below.

I get the error message on the printer when I try to log in, what does it mean?

"Bad credentials" = You have entered your account details wrong, try again. NOTE! You shall only enter your username in the "User ID", not your email address.

"No credits anymore!" = You have no money left on your student account for printing and copying.

How to add money to your account for printing and copying via Pcounter EasyPay.

How do I print from a public computer at the university?

  1. Select printer "LNU på/on Print". The print job is then placed in a queue and you can go to any public printer at the university to pick up your printout.

  2. Log in on the printer with your username (not e-mail address) and password for your student account.

  3. Click on Print, select the file/files you want to print and click Print.


Can I get my money back that I deposited on my account?

It’s not possible for us to pay back what you put into your account via Pcounter EasyPay or cash through one of our sales points.


Which e-mail address should I enter in Pcounter EasyPay?

The e-mail address provided in Pcounter EasyPay is the one that is linked to your student account. It’s to this address Pcounter sends the receipt of the deposit to your account.

When you get to the step for payment, by card or invoice, you can enter an optional e-mail address. It’s to this address DIBS sends the receipt of the payment.

What payment options are possible in Pcounter EasyPay?

In EasyPay you can choose to pay by debit card, Visa or Mastercard.

Why should I enter postal code when I deposit money on Pcounter EasyPay?

It’s DIBS that uses the combination of e-mail and postal code (zip code) to verify you as a user.

When can I print/copy after I have deposit money on my account?

Whether you deposit funds into your account via card or cash, you can print or copy immediately after the transaction has been completed.



How do I copy?

  1. Log in to a printer.

  2. Click Copy.

  3. Place the original, make the desired settings, select the number of copies and press the green button.

How do I scan?

Scan to your e-mail:

  1. Log in to a printer.

  2. Click the Scan-to-me.

  3. Place the original, make the desired settings and click Scan.

Scan to USB:

  1. Log in to a printer.

  2. Press the machines F4 button.

  3. Click on Lagra fil and then select Lagra till minnesenhet.

  4. Insert a USB memory into the side of the printer.

  5. Place the original, make the desired settings and press the green button.

How much does it cost to print, copy and scan?

The following prices apply for printing and copying on multi-function printers.

Black and white print: 
A4 single sided - 0.36 SEK
A4 sided - 0.65 SEK
A3 single sided - 0.72 SEK
A3 duplex - 1.30 SEK

Color print:
A4 single sided - 0.95 SEK
A4 sided - 1.71 SEK
A3 single sided - 1,90 SEK
A3-sided - 3.42 SEK

Scanning is free. Note! However, it’s necessary that you have money for printing and copying on your student account to be able to log in at the printers.

How can I see my balance on my printing/copying account?

Go to webprintpwr.lnu.se and log in with your student account.

When you logged in, you see "Balance" and "Free Quota" in the top right corner that shows your total balance.

Balance = Balance of what you added to your account via Pcounter EasyPay.

Free Quota = Balance of what you added to your account either via cash purchases at Copycenter in Växjö or Infocenter in Kalmar or freely assigned credits.

When printing and copying, the cost is primarily deducted from "Free Quota", then from "Balance". If you have no "Free Quota" left, you'll only see "Balance" in the top right corner.

How can I see my printing history?

Got to webprintpwr.lnu.se and log in with your student account.

To view the history and cost of your prints, copy and scan, select the period from which you want to view through the scroll bar.

By default, the result is sorted by date and time, click on the column headings if you which to change the sort order.

Description of the results list:

  • Date/Time: Date and time for the action.
  • Device Name: Serial number or the printer name on the machine you used.
  • Type: Type of action, "Copy", "Print" or "Scan".
  • Document Name: The name of the document or the address of a web page.
  • Pages: Pages that you print, copy or scan.
  • Cost: The cost that have been drawn from what you added to your account via Pcounter EasyPay.
  • Balance: Balance of what you added to your account via Pcounter EasyPay.
  • FQ Cost: The cost deducted from your balance for "Free Quota", see description in the above question.
  • FQ Balance: Balance on your ”Free Quota”, see description in the above question.
  • Deposit: Deposits to your account via Pcounter EasyPay.
  • Other: This filed not currently used by the University.

Otherwise, contact the IT Support for help.

Please have your printers serial number available when you contact us, see the label on the machine.
